benefit sun beam

benefit sun beam highlighter - £18.50

It is probably safe to say that this highlighter from benefit is my absolute favourite. It is a golden colour that really is 'liquid sunshine', it is a creamy consistency that blends well into your skin and looks like you've just been sun kissed. It isn't too heavy so you can't go over board, it always looks natural. I put it on my cheek bones, nose and my inner eyes it really brightens up your face. It catches the light nicely an doesn't make you look like you're wearing a ton of make up. It is a bit shimmery but nothing over powering. It is in a nail polish type bottle with a brush so it is easy to apply but I usually put two or three dots onto my MAC 187 brush and blend it in onto my face, a little goes a long way. I love this product, its not too brown or too light so it will look good on any skin tone. Have you tried it yet? Where do you use it to highlight your face?

  1. such a pretty highlighter ! it really suits you x

  2. It looks lovely, I'm always super afraid to try any sort of illuminator or bronzer. I'm not too pale but I'm by no means tan either so I fear nothing will blend well with me.
I'd love to be able to swatch it, or try just a little bit.

  3. Wow great review Sophie! I want to try benefit high beam because my skin Is very pale, but I'm quite willing to check that put! :p x

  4. I love this, it makes my super pale skin look a bit healthier!

  5. I love Sun Beam! It's amazing! Love your blog, just been going through loads of it, joined and followed!!
