barry m gelly nail paint - spring collection

barry m nail paint - sugar apple, rose hip, huckleburry - £3.99

Some of you may be thinking 'are more nail varnishes really needed Sophie? But in this case... and in most cases, yes, more is needed. Whilst food shopping in Tesco with my parents I was wondering round the isles and came across new Barry M nail paints!!! aaaaand in pastel colours I instantly picked them up and knew I was going to sneak them in the trolly ;);) (btw well done Tesco for selling Barry M make up, good call)
I do have a lot of nail varnishes but I noticed the blue colour 'huckleburry' first as I'd never seen anything quite like it. On these photos it is showing up a lot more vibrant than it actually is in real life, it is a really muted pastel blue colour, almost slightly grey and looks so gorgeous. If I had any self control I would have just calmly picked the blue up and bought that, but since I have this overwhelming need to fully complete sets or collections of things I had to get them all. I already have pinks and greens similar to the ones above but they are a lovely addition to my vast collection. The formula of these polishes are gorgeous, they glide on smoothly and are very opaque. I'm sorry I haven't included 'swatch' photos but I currently have on my favourite nail polish of all time which is Models Own beach party which is an incredible neon orange, and I could bring my self to take it off, if Barry M ever came out with a neon collection I think I would die and go to heaven, I'm praying for the day.

soap and glory multi tonal blushers

soap and glory - peach party & love at first blush - £11 each

Ever since I started using my new favourite eyebrow pencil 'Archery' by Soap and Glory I've been hooked on their make up, the boots 3 for 2 offer definitely helped my collection grow too! Most people will know Soap and Glory for their gorgeous bath and body care range but I can tell you their make up line is just as brilliant!

The first two products I wanted to review are their multi coloured blushers, the first is 'Peach Party' and the second, 'Love at First Blush' and I just have to say I love a good play on words for product names!

Both of the blushers are multi tonal, and have lots of complimenting shades all in the same product to create a gorgeous shimmery look, or you can just use one of the shades depending on the effect you want. They are both very shimmery but they don't include huge chunks of glitter like most highlighting products. They each create a luminous sheen to your skin and catch the light lovely.

Peach Party is my personal favourite as it is more of a warmer tone and compliments my skin nicely. Its a mixture of copper, peach and gold pigments and they all are stunning. It isn't as opaque as most blushers but this helps it create a gorgeous glow to your skin, although it is build-able to create a more obvious colour if you would like.

Love at First Blush is a shimmery take on a traditional rosy pink colour and is more of a proper blush colour rather than just a highlighting bronzer like Peach Party is. It goes on your skin very smoothly and you can build up the colour quite quickly. The packaging is lovely and sleek, and has a huge clear mirror built in so you can get a good view on where your placing it.

You can bearly see the blushers in these photos but hopefully you can notice the lovely glow it gives to the skin. Have you ever tried Soap and Glory make up? If so, what is your favourite product?
