If any of you are make up addicts you may be aware that NYX Cosmetics has finally came to the UK! They are now sold in most large Boots stores and the range of products is amazing! In the Boots I went to there were at least 6 display stands full of NYX products! Truthfully I could have spent a load of money today but I was good and only got things that are not similar to what I already have in my make up collection.
The first items I bought were eyeshadow pans as I also bought an eyeshadow pallet to put them in. I've never bought an empty pallet and filled it with eyeshadows that I've picked out myself. I love warm orangey/goldy/browny colours and this is what colours I choose for this pallet. The first colour I was immediately drawn to as it is a matte orange, it is in the shade 'LOL' and it is so gorgeous! I have been looking for a colour like this for a while but they ones I've came across were always too much on the brown side, but this one is really orange and I love it! The next shade I picked is 'showgirl', in the photos above it don't really show the true colour it is more of a dark brick red in real life. This type of colour is also something I've been looking for, I would have preferred this to be matte but I still think it is beautiful. The third colour I got is called 'bonfire' and it is a light brown gold with shimmer. The last colour is called 'liquid gold' and it is an extremely concentrated gold shimmer it is so gorgeous. I'm really happy with the colours that I chose but I wish there had been more matte warm colours. I haven't tried them on my eyes yet but when I swatched them on my hand they felt velvety and are very pigmented.
I have heard great things about NYX matte liquid lipsticks so I just had to get some! I again picked colours that I don't have anything similar to in my collection already. The first colour is called 'buenos aires' and is in a peachy orange shade. The second is called 'Tokyo' and is a beautiful light pink. The consistency of the lipsticks are super soft and velvety and they're extremely pigmented! I havent tried them on my lips yet so I can't say how long they last.
Unless I've been living under a rock I have never came across a primer spray, so when I saw this I just had to find out what its like. It is a spray that you spray your face before applying make up. I'm not sure if your supposed to use this on its own or along with an actual primer? But the idea if it works is so good. I assume it is to make your make up last longer and to create a smooth base for foundation to stick to. Have you ever tried this product before?
They are all of the products I bought and I'm so excited to try them! Have you ever tried NYX products before? What are your must haves from this brand?
