I don’t know how many times I can say it and you’re probably sick of hearing it in my blog posts but Lush is by far my favourite beauty product company. Every time they do a new collection whether it’s Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter or Halloween I’ll always buy at least one product from the new collection. I don’t think I can choose which collection is my favourite but Halloween is always one that I’m excited to see the new products for.
I don’t really do all that much for Halloween except from a yearly traditional get together with my BFF to eat good food, carve pumpkins and watch Halloween movies. So I’m not too sure why I like Halloween so much, maybe its because the Vampire Diaries is one of my favourite shows and I love the idea of witches, vampires and werewolves? What ever it is, I celebrate it by treating myself to a spooky bath with some of Lush’s new products.
Bewitched Bubble Bar – OK is this bubble bar not the cutest thing ever? This cute cat is a bubble bar which you run under your tap while you’re running your bath to create endless amounts of bubbles, a little bit goes a long way so you don’t need to use the whole thing at once. Its scent reminds me of blackcurrant, its not too over powering but it smells super comforting and cozy. I was a bit put off by the thought of this bubble bar turning my bath water black but it actually looks cool rather than gross, I think the addition of shimmer helps!
Eyeball Bath Bomb – This product is new to Lush’s Halloween collection this year, its exterior looks a bit boring but once its in your bath its anything but. The centre of this bath bomb is bursting with Brazilian orange oil and rose absolute, rose is one of my most favourite scents so this one was a must buy for me! Once the eyeball has fizzed away you’re left with a gorgeous peachy orange bath and then the lavender oil hits you to completely relax you.
Monster Ball Bath Bomb – I love this bath bomb, the colours are stunning and its quite possibly the cutest monster I’ve ever seen. Monsters Ball contains Himalayan salt which softens your skin along with olibanum oil so not only are you getting to see gorgeous pink and blue swirly bubbles in your bath water, you’re also getting moisturised just by soaking in it!
Ectoplasm Shower Gel – Showering with a neon green shower gel is definitely a yes from me, this fruity shower scream is filled with tangerine and grapefruit oils which are really refreshing and uplifting scents. It also includes almond oil which is super moisturising and the scent lasts for a long time on your skin after you’ve showered which I love about Lush shower gels, it keeps me feeling clean for longer.
