For years now I have only bought products that were not tested on animals and I wanted to share my favourites with you today.
Soap and Glory Micellar water – If anyone uses the Garnier micellar water, this Soap and Glory one is such a great cruelty free alternative. I pore some of this on a makeup wipe and wipe it over my face to begin to remove my make up. I can’t use a make up wipe with out this now as it adds extra moisture to the wipe and removes make up so much faster. It reduces the amount of rubbing you have to do especially around your eyes to remove mascara, which is better for your skin. It is lightly scented with cucumber but it is not irritating to your skin. I have sensitive skin so I try to avoid scented face products but this is not irritating at all and is actually quite cooling and refreshing.
Amie Morning Clear Face Wash – I had never heard of this brand until I received it in my ‘The Vegan Kind’ box one month and I absolutely love it. It is a vegan face wash which of course is cruelty free, I love to use it on a morning to freshen up my skin. It is a cream like consistency and is super moisturising, whenever I use it my skin feels so moisturised and soft.
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation – I have only recently purchased this foundation but I am totally in love with it! It is probably the only foundation I’ve ever had which matches my skin tone perfectly, I had it matched to me in store and it is just makes the world of difference. This is quite a famous foundation and I can tell why, it is so gorgeous once on your skin and applies beautifully.
Soap and Glory Super Cat Eyeliner – Soap and Glory make up just had to make an appearance in this post as it is probably one of my favourite make up brands. I have used the Soap and Glory super cat eyeliner for years as it is the easiest for me to use, I am not great at applying eyeliner and this has made life so much easier as the tip is thin and the formula is extremely black.
Soap and Glory Archery Volu-boost – I am so glad Soap and Glory have brought out this brow product as it is an exact dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow. It is a coloured brow mascara which helps to keep your brows in place. I use it to set my brows after I’ve filled them in and they don’t budge all day!
Soap and Glory Solar Powder – Another amazing Soap and Glory product! Solar powder is a two tone bronzer, one side is a dark bronze and the other side is lighter so it can be tailored to your skin tone! Or you can mix them together and it creates the prettiest natural bronze glow.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover – I got this blush in a Christmas set last year and I have been obsessed with it ever since. It is very pigmented so you only have to use a tiny bit, it blends and applies so seamlessly to give a gorgeous natural colour to your cheeks.
Too Faced Sweethearts Blush in Peach Beach – When I don’t have loads of time to do my make up I always grab this Too Faced blush as it acts like a blush and highlighter in one. It gives the most gorgeous glow to your skin, sometimes I dip my brush in all of the colours but I love the way the peach colour matches my go to eyeshadow atm.
Barry M Nail Paint in Rose Hip and Do It Like A Nude – Barry M nail varnishes have been a love of mine for years, they come in so many different colours and varieties. They are all vegan and cruelty free and no more than £6 each! I have so many colours but their pinks and nudes are my favourite.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade – I’ve only recently purchased this but it has been popular for a while and I can tell why! I used to always change my brow products monthly as I could never get the look I wanted but now using dip brow I love my brows. It is waterproof and does not move one bit once you’ve applied it! I am going to do an eyebrow routine post if you would like to find out more about my brows!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and if you would like to find out more about why we should support cruelty free companies I will do a blog post on it just let me know!
