2018 BLOGGING GOALS

I started off 2017 with a blogging goals post but didn’t post again for about 4 months straight after that, which totally messed up my goals! I intend not to do that this year and I already have next weeks post complete so hopefully this is a step in the right direction! I will be trying to keep up with last years goals this year as well and constantly improve my blogging skills! You can read last years blogging goals post here. Create a media kit – I have heard other bloggers talk about a media kit which they have…

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS

I love reading peoples what I got for Christmas/Birthday posts but I always feel a bit apprehensive to post my own as some people see them as bragging or showing off. When I read these types of posts I feel happy for the person and don’t see it as bragging, as all of the people I follow are grateful and genuine. I don’t intend to show off and I know how lucky I am, I was yet again spoilt rotten by my friends and family and I absolutely love everything I received. I’m not going to go into detail about…

THE BEST CRUELTY FREE BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF 2017

Tanya Burr Selfie Story Lash Mascara – For years I have been looking for a cruelty free alternative to Benefits they’re real mascara and in 2017 I found it! The Tanya Burr Cosmetics selfie lash mascara is the closest dupe that I’ve come across and I haven’t stopped using it since I bought it! It gives my lashes loads of length, separation and definition. Anastasia Beverly Hills brow powder – I started of 2017 using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade and loved it, I still do but it takes me quite a while to do my brows when I use…

VEGAN YULE CUPCAKES

Yule log is one of my favourite festive treats, I don’t think theres a Christmas goes by without me having a piece of yule log. Since I’m vegan I can’t have ‘normal’ yule log that you buy from the supermarket so I had to make my own. I tried to make a vegan yule log and I had a right nightmare with the sponge and rolling it so I decided to make life easier for myself and make a cupcake version. You might notice in the photos that some of the cupcakes have vanilla sponge rather than chocolate, this is…

VEGAN VANILLA CHRISTMAS BISCUITS

Iced vanilla biscuits are one of my favourite things to bake, the whole process is fun for me, from making the dough to decorating them. They are the perfect thing to snack on especially at this time of the year when you’re craving a sweet treat. I have a Christmas folder on Pinterest and it is mainly filled with Christmas biscuit photos, so I tried to make as many different biscuit designs as possible when making these. Keep reading to find out how to make these super easy festive biscuits. Ingredients for biscuits 100g dairy free butter 100g caster sugar…

CHRISTMAS PYJAMA WISH LIST

Pyjamas are probably my favourite clothing items, if I could live in PJ’s I would. I love being comfortable and warm so winter PJ’s are my favourite. Christmas is my favourite time of the year so mixing the two together is the perfect combination for me! I love to buy a couple of new sets of PJ’s every year and get rid of my old tatty ones. I have combined a collection of my favourites for sale this year in this post to give you all some inspiration if you’re looking for some new festive PJ’s. 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 I have recently…

VEGAN CANDY CANE PEPPERMINT CUPCAKES

Peppermint is one of the most classic festive wintery flavours in my opinion so I decided to get in the festive spirit and make some peppermint flavoured cupcakes. I have been dying to use my edible glitter that I bought a while ago so I went all out with these cupcakes and sprayed it everywhere. I’m not usually a fan of silver glitter but I think it compliments the cool colours of these cakes really nicely and looks beautiful in real life. Peppermint can be quite an overwhelming taste so if you’re not too keen on it you can mix…

VEGAN HOT CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES

I’m always trying to come up with different flavours for cupcakes unlike the usual vanilla or chocolate. Hot chocolate is my favourite drink for this time of year, so I decided to create some hot chocolate flavoured cupcakes. I used Cadburys hot chocolate powder instead of cocoa powder which gives the cake a much softer flavour and literally tastes exactly like hot chocolate. I used butter icing on the top to look like whipped cream, vegan marshmallows, chocolate sauce and hot chocolate powder sprinkled on top to make it look as authentic as possible. Ingredients for cupcakes 180g self-raising flour…

TANYA BURR COSMETICS – SELFIE STORY

I have watched Tanya Burr on YouTube for years, she was one of the first YouTubers that I ever watched and that I still enjoy watching to this day. I trust her opinion and because of this I knew I would love her makeup line. To be truthful I haven’t tried many of her products, I’m not really sure why, maybe because I don’t often shop in Superdrug but something about her new Selfie Story collection really drew me in. Maybe its the beautiful sleek gold packaging or that she has brought out two of my top makeup products, could…

WHAT TO DO ON HALLOWEEN IF YOU’VE GOT NO PLANS

Even when I was younger it was rare if I did anything for Halloween, my dad has worked away for the majority of my life so he often wasn’t home for Halloween. My mum didn’t like taking my brother and I out on our own as she didn’t like the dark nights so I hardly ever went trick or treating. Because of this we’d always celebrate Halloween in the house. I very rarely go out drinking so I don’t even go out on Halloween now. My best friend and I have always wanted to but Halloween has never landed on…
