VEGAN VANILLA HALLOWEEN BISCUITS

Last Halloween I made vanilla biscuits like these and I have been thinking about them ever since, so I had to make them again this year and I thought I’d share the recipe with you. They’re so easy to make and are fun to decorate. You could get creative and do really extravagant designs or just keep them super simple they’ll still taste amazing. Ingredients 100g vegan butter 100g caster sugar 1tbsp coconut oil (or any other vegetable oil) 275g plain flour 1tsp vanilla extract Icing sugar Water Food colouring Extras Halloween themed cookie cutters, I used a mixture of…

MINI GLOSSIER HAUL

If you’re an active member of the blogging and youtube beauty community you will probably have heard that the brand Glossier has been released in the UK. I first heard about this brand through Anna, I think about a year ago and I have been wanting to try it ever since. I only bought two products (technically four as one is a set) as I restrained myself so much and only bought things that I don’t have similar already or that I felt like I needed skin care wise. In this post I share with you my thoughts on the…

VEGAN PUMPKIN COOKIE DOUGH BITES

Last year I made some pumpkin patch cupcakes and created little fondant pumpkins to decorate them with (blog post here). I have been dying to make fondant pumpkins again ever since. I was making cookie dough bites and I thought that they’d be the prefect size and shape for creating pumpkins! I found a cookie dough recipe online and adapted it so that it was vegan and also to my taste preferences. I made plain chocolate chip cookie dough but you could add spices like cinnamon, nutmeg or if you can get your hands on pumpkin spice add that to…

NEW AUTUMN ROOM DECO

If you have followed me online for a while you will know that I love to switch up my bedroom decor every single season. My room furniture is quite plain and boring but that allows me to add in any colours I want so I love incorporating new seasonal decorations to keep my room feeling fresh! In this post I’m going to show you just how I’ve done that this autumn. If you would like to see how I decorated my bedroom for autumn last year you can read the post here. My bed is the part of my room…

AUTUMN TO DO LIST

Autumn is quite possibly my favourtie season, I love everything to do with it, the colours, fashion, halloween, hot chocolates and the exciting run up to Christmas. I have created a little list of things I want to do this season, and as I love reading these types of posts so thought I’d share mine with you today! 1. Visit a pumpkin patch. I have always wanted to go to a farm and pick my own pumpkin from a pumpkin patch. There are none near Newcastle where I live, but they are some around York where I go to university. I’ve…

THIRD YEAR UNIVERSITY ROOM TOUR

I am in my third and final year of university (thank goodness) this year so this will be the last year I’m staying in student accommodation (also thank goodness). I took photos of the room I’ve had every year just for my memories mainly but I even made a Youtube video of my room last year when I was making videos consistently. Since I’m not making videos anymore and just concentrating on blogging I thought I’d share with you my last student room in this post. I am in the same building and actually the same exact room that I…

WHATS IN MY UNIVERSITY BAG – YEAR 3

I am going back to university next week to start my third year, I can’t believe I am going into my final year already, it has gone by so quick! It just feels like yesterday when I was nervously walking to my first class in a strange city 2 hours from home, but it has been so worth it! In todays post I thought I’d show you what I take to university with me with a whats in my uni bag post. I love reading these types of posts and watching these YouTube videos, so hopefully you’ll find this some…

MINI VEGAN OREO CHEESE CAKES

Ever since Sainsbury’s released their vegan cream cheese I have wanted to try and make cheese cakes with it and today I finally have! I made oreo flavoured ones as there also vegan and just taste so blooming delish! I have made mini ones as they’re quite sickly so it would be easy to overindulge on these if they were a normal sized cheese cake, these mini ones are just the perfect treat size. I love making vegan versions of ‘normal’ food to prove that you can still have all of your favourite foods when you’re vegan and they’re just…

TWO URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT EYESHADOW LOOKS

I was one of those people who got sucked in by Urban Decays first Naked palette, it has been a staple in my makeup collection for years. Then they released a second one and I bought that one too, but I never used it as much as the first one, so when they released the third naked palette I didn’t buy it as I didn’t think I’d use it. I didn’t pay much attention to the others that they released after that as I didn’t think I needed them. But when I saw the Naked Heat palette I knew I…

OLIVIA BURTON VEGAN WATCHES

I like having a few different watches as I like to mix and match depending on how I’m feeling and what I’m wearing. With so many different styles its hard to choose just one so why not have a few?! I have lusted over Olivia Burton watches for years but never thought I’d be able to get one as the majority are leather straps. Until my mum noticed that there are some styles available in vegan leather! I love that some high end and designer brands are now offering a choice to customers whether they want genuine leather or vegan…
