BEST BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF 2016

I have tried a lot of great products in 2016 but the ones that have really stood out as my favourite products are what I am going to be talking about in this blog post. A lot of these products did not come out in 2016 but these are just the products that I have discovered or started using last year and are my personal favourites. Skin Care – I was really looking after my skin in 2016 as the year previous was when my skin went down hill like never before. So I made a vow to look after my…

DECEMBER FAVOURITES

Its difficult choosing favourites every month because I don’t really change much when it comes to beauty products, and I don’t want to keep showing you all the same things every month. I only change products if I’ve bought something new that I really like, but since Christmas is in December I didn’t spend much money on myself so I’ve only got a few favourites to show you this month. Snow Fairy Body Conditioner – Lush body conditioners are perfect for those of us who don’t like the feeling of normal heavy moisturiser on your skin. You apply them when…

2016 MEMORIES

I wanted to write this post purely for my own memories as I started writing a post similar to this last year which I never finished, and I regret that. So I’m just going to talk through month by month a brief description of what happened in that month for me, and hopefully it will be interesting for you all to read as well! January – The beginning of 2016 was strange, I was in an uncertain mind set when it came to university. The September before I had started my first year of my degree and I was not enjoying…

Models Own – Blizzard, Ibiza Mix and Mixed Up Glitter nail polishes are a must for this time of year and what better time to wear them then New Years Eve, one of the biggest celebrations of the year?! The three polishes I have picked here are so gorgeous in their own unique way. The first one on…

CHRISTMAS ROOM TOUCHES

I posted a Christmas room tour video on my youtube channel which you can watch here, and I just wanted to share a few photos of my Christmasy room in this blog post with you all because I think it looks really cute and just for my own memories really. For the past few years I have had a Christmas tree in my room, I just had an artificial 4ft tree from Sainsbury’s but this year I wanted a slightly bigger one. I went to a local garden centre to get another artificial one but the 5ft ones were almost £100!…

FAVOURITE FESTIVE NAIL POLISHES

In today’s post I’m sharing my favourite nail polishes that I like to wear around the festive period. The majority of these nail polishes are glittery but I feel like this is the best time of the year to wear glitter, on everything! Starting at the top I have picked a gorgeous green glitter polish that screams Christmas, in the shade emerald city by Models Own. I am usually not keen on green nail polish but this one I absolutely love. The glitter is so concentrated that you don’t even need a green coloured base coat underneath. The next colour…

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE BUNNIES

If you know me or have followed my blog for a little while you will know that I have two rabbits, as they’re all I ever talk about. But you may also know that with every holiday or occasion I dress them up and take themed photos of them. This Christmas is no different, as always I set up a little Christmas background and plopped them down and took some photos, much to their disgust. In the blog post I did at Halloween with them, I have explained in more detail how to take these types of photos and ensuring…
