VEGAN T-SHIRT WISHLIST

When I first went vegetarian I was sort of embarrassed about it and if people would ask me why I didn’t eat meat I’d just say that I didn’t like the taste of it, which wasn’t true. So I never wanted to advertise it but now I am proud of my decision to avoid contributing to the exploitation of animals and I want to show it off which is why I’m so obsessed with vegan promoting clothing! I feel like vegan clothing has come a long way in the past few years all I could ever find when I first…

VEGAN PINA COLADA CUPCAKES

My favourite cocktail is a Pina Colada and I can’t get enough of anything coconut flavoured or scented, so when I spotted Pina Colada flavoured icing by Sugar and Crumbs in Hoby Craft, I knew I had to create some pina colada inspired cupcakes! These summery cupcakes are perfect for this time of year and would be so good as desert at a BBQ! Ingredients for 6 cupcakes 140g coconut flour 100g caster sugar 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 50ml melted coconut oil 85ml sparkling water Ingredients for decorations Pineapple jam Sugar and Crumbs pina colada icing…

THE HIGHLIGHTING HUNS

Highlighters are one of my favourite makeup products as I feel like they can change your whole makeup look in an instance. No matter how much of a rush I’m in to do my makeup I’ll always put on highlighter as I feel like it makes me look healthier overall! Highlighters come in all different types of formulas, powder, cream and liquid which all give a different effect to the skin. In this post I am going to share with you my favourite highlighters that I’ve tried so far that never let me down. Depending on what look you want…

ANOTHER YEAR OVER

My start to the year when it comes to blogging has quite obviously not gone to plan. If you look at the post before this one I said that I was going to keep posting twice a week but I didn’t manage to stick to that. Straight after Christmas I was concentrating on January exams then I had loads of assignments due in, then it was February half term and I had a disaster. If you can remember last summer I did a blog post about an eyelash treatment known as LVL, it was amazing and I loved the way…

2017 BLOGGING GOALS

I started to blog again in May 2016 and I am so glad I got back into it. I have been blogging since I was 16 and I have always loved it but I just go through phases of not knowing what to post and then end up not posting for months and thats not good if you want to keep up a regular readership. I’d say from last August onwards I’ve been good at keeping a regular upload schedule and liking what I’ve been posting. I have seen a lot of people do blogging goal posts for this year…

HOW I REVISE FOR EXAMS

I thought that today I would just post a few of my top tips that I use when I am revising for exams. I have definitely had plenty of practice as since leaving high school I’ve been in further and higher education for 6 years in a row! I feel like I have got better at revising over the years and found the perfect technique for me personally to retain as much information as possible. I know a lot of these tips will be common sense but they might just help someone and I personally like reading about other peoples methods…

BEST BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF 2016

I have tried a lot of great products in 2016 but the ones that have really stood out as my favourite products are what I am going to be talking about in this blog post. A lot of these products did not come out in 2016 but these are just the products that I have discovered or started using last year and are my personal favourites. Skin Care – I was really looking after my skin in 2016 as the year previous was when my skin went down hill like never before. So I made a vow to look after my…

DECEMBER FAVOURITES

Its difficult choosing favourites every month because I don’t really change much when it comes to beauty products, and I don’t want to keep showing you all the same things every month. I only change products if I’ve bought something new that I really like, but since Christmas is in December I didn’t spend much money on myself so I’ve only got a few favourites to show you this month. Snow Fairy Body Conditioner – Lush body conditioners are perfect for those of us who don’t like the feeling of normal heavy moisturiser on your skin. You apply them when…

2016 MEMORIES

I wanted to write this post purely for my own memories as I started writing a post similar to this last year which I never finished, and I regret that. So I’m just going to talk through month by month a brief description of what happened in that month for me, and hopefully it will be interesting for you all to read as well! January – The beginning of 2016 was strange, I was in an uncertain mind set when it came to university. The September before I had started my first year of my degree and I was not enjoying…
